Absztrakt (kivonat)
This thesis explores the connection how Human Resource Management can enhance communication within an international organization. As globalization is becoming more integral not just for our everyday lives, but for businesses as well. And just as us have to tackle ever changing cultural norms and technological advancements, the organizations face an ever increasingly diverse workforce where each culture has different way expressing themselves. To achieve optimal harmony within such organizations its management and human resource department should take into account the different culture's saturating the organization, and implement trainings in communication and culture awarenessby utilising the Human Resource managements' ideas and theoretics. In an effort to achieve a cohesive yet brilliantly diverse workforce, where colleagues respect each other and communicate effectively, and as a result of this, an organization can hasten its adaptation to the ever-expanding market. By analysing what are the base components we are working with, such as communication, culture and HRM, we can understand the topics' complexity and its part influence on the others. After the establishment of the base ideas, we will take more practical approach towards the topic, with the analysis of a questionnaire, whose participants consist of employee's of international firms. Where demographic questions were asked, such as language knowledge and its usage at work. While further inquiring about cultural impacts on relations in the workplace, and attitude toward potential communication training.
