Absztrakt (kivonat)

The primary purpose of my thesis is to evaluate the implementation of omnichannel strategies in the Hungarian pet supplement market, specifically using PetPro Nutrition. In this research, both theoretical as well as real-world business data will be identified and evaluated to provide legitimate recommendations for how a unified approach will create stronger customer engagement, strengthen brand loyalty, and therefore, increase sales positively. On a high-level, the research aims to demonstrate the relationship between omnichannel strategy, customer behavior, and business performance, with a particular focus on small but growing firms. In addition to the overarching goal of the research, there are also a number of specific goals: -To examine PetPro Nutrition’s current marketing approach in order to describe what is working and what needs to be improved regarding the seamless integration of online and offline methods. -To evaluate consumer behaviour and consumer preferences in the Hungarian pet supplement market with close attention paid to what drives loyalty and purchase decisions. -To review best practices in omnichannel marketing from theory and real-world and determine if they are applicable to the pet supplement market. -To develop practical, strategic recommendations for PetPro Nutrition, with the intention of reaching long-term sustainable growth and competitiveness in the domestic and global marketplace. Taken together, these goals illustrate that the thesis is focused on more than just contributing to the academic conversation concerning omnichannel marketing, but rather, also provides relevant, useful value for a firm selling to extremely competitive, saturated marketplace.
