Absztrakt (kivonat)

In an era where digital evolution is reshaping our world, cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology introduced, and still introducing to this day, a fresh approach on how we perceive value, money and the banking system. I chose this topic because it stands close to me. Since the beginning of my university studies, I have been interested in cryptocurrencies. I worked with the topic several times on smaller instances, and I am deep in the crypto scene for several years now, be it investing, NFTs or other new and interesting projects. In my thesis I will showcase the basics of cryptocurrencies and the blockchain. Possibly introduce you to interesting projects like NFTs or the future of banking. I will also give a sneak peek into long-term investments and short-term investments.
