Absztrakt (kivonat)
This study identified and focused on four key topics that play a key role in shaping the future of work, namely 1) Work-Life Balance (WLB), 2) Remote Working, 3) Offshoring and 4) Artificial Intelligence. These topics were studied both from the eyes of staff and management, their attitudes towards these topics and the factors that affect them have been measured and compared against one another. This study used a quantitative approach, comparing two different sample. The study used an online questionnaire and the snowball sampling method to gather data, receiving 112 valid responses in total, of which 78 belonged into the sample of staff level employees while the other 34 fulfilled managerial positions. The population of respondents was Hungarian white-collar workers.Three key theories were used in the interpretation of the study’s findings, namely Maslow’s hierarchy of needs (Maslow, 1943), Agency Theory (Jensen & Meckling, 1976) and the Technology Acceptance Model (Davis, 1986).
