Absztrakt (kivonat)

The research explores how finance affects the employment choices of international learners. The findings show that financial pressure is an impact on the daily activities of students and their future career paths. Limited financial resources also prevent students from gaining access to valuable experiences via the employs, such as internships or opportunities for professional networking. Additionally, culture can be a large factor that influences the student's professional direction, as evidenced by these findings suggesting that institutions must provide full support to international students, that is, through appropriate financial aid, flexible job placement programmes, and culturally competent advising services so as to alleviate the pressure created by financial stressors and assist in developing sustainable career outcomes for international students.
