Absztrakt (kivonat)

In today’s highly competitive job market, establishing a strong employer brand is crucial for organizations to become an employer of choice, enabling them to attract and retain top talent. As a strategic tool, employer branding influences employee attitudes and organizational outcomes and plays a key role in employee retention. This quantitative research examined the relationship between the employer branding approach, organizational culture type, and employee engagement levels within a newly established company that recently separated from a reputable parent organization. Data was collected from 145 employees representing various ages, genders, departments, locations and tenures. The study found an exceptionally strong, positive correlation between the employer brand and employee engagement (r=0.98) and that branding explains nearly all the variance in commitment (adjusted R square=0.98).Furthermore, the analysis of the relationship between organizational culture and the employer brand revealed strong, positive and significant relationships across all culture types, with clan culture being the strongest. It also indicated that organizational culture significantly impacts employees’ perception of the employer brand (adjusted R square=0.66).While correlation between organizational culture and employee engagement was strong across all culture types, it was strongest with the clan culture. Additionally, the organizational culture explained almost all the variance in engagement (adjusted R square=0.96).These results suggest that organizational culture helps shape the perception of the employer brand and that both culture and branding contributes significantly to maintaining employee engagement even in an organization with relatively weaker brand strength.
