This thesis focuses on the analysis of Transintertop Ltd., a Hungarian freight forwarding and logistics company, using Porter’s Five Forces model. The study aims to evaluate the company's market environment and competitive position by examining the five key forces: the threat of new entrants, the bargaining power of suppliers and customers, the threat of substitute services, and the intensity of industry rivalry. The research identifies that while Transintertop benefits from long-term market experience and established client relationships, it faces challenges from increasing competition, price sensitivity, and evolving customer expectations. The thesis also considers macroeconomic factors and industry trends impacting the company’s operations. Based on the findings, strategic recommendations are provided to improve competitiveness, including innovation in services, investment in digitalisation, and the development of strategic partnerships. The analysis offers valuable insights into how Transintertop Ltd. can strengthen its market position in a rapidly changing logistics landscape.
