Absztrakt (kivonat)

This study examines how the economic policies of Donald Trump’s 2024 presidency are reshaping the global economy amid rising de-globalization. By combining firm-level and region-level case studies, it analyses how multinational corporations and national governments respond to renewed U.S. protection, particularly through tariffs, investment restrictions, and trade decoupling. The research focuses on the global supply chain realignment triggered by these policies, highlighting changes in industrial layout, trade flows, and strategic planning. Through the comparative analysis of corporate cases (e.g., Tesla and CATL) and regional adjustments in the European Union and China, the study shows that Trump's policies are accelerating the fragmentation of the global economic system into regional blocs. Rather than reversing globalization outright, the trend suggests a shift toward localized supply chains and selective economic integration. The findings underscore how modern protectionism contributes to a more uncertain, politically driven global economic order.
