With the booming development of digital technology, Metaverse, as an innovative platform integrating virtual reality, augmented reality and blockchain technology, is driving the global cultural tourism industry into a new stage of digital transformation. Starting from the perspective of tourists, this study focuses on Xi'an, a tourist destination with rich cultural heritage, and evaluates the potential of its Metaverse cultural tourism market by analyzing key factors such as technology acceptance, user experience, social interaction, privacy security, willingness to pay and immersion, and takes tourists' future behavioral intention as the core indicator.Based on the questionnaire data collected from Xi'an tourists, this study uses multidimensional statistical analysis and structural equation modeling to reveal the unique advantages of Metaverse in enhancing the attractiveness of cultural tourism, optimizing user experience and promoting social interaction. In addition, Metaverse has shown a strong enabling role in promoting the digital transformation of the tourism industry, bringing innovative opportunities for traditional cultural tourismBased on the research conclusions, this paper puts forward a series of strategic recommendations for the Metaverse cultural tourism market in Xi'an, and at the same time provides important inspiration for the practice of digital transformation of other cultural tourism destinations and industries, and also contributes theoretical support to the digital development of the global tourism industry.Keywords: Metaverse, cultural tourism, market potential, tourist behavioral intention, digitalization
