Abstract
In the modern era of technology, it has become essential for businesses to establish their online presence to reach a wider audience. It is true not only for large corporations but alsofor small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The term E business describes the useof digital technology in facilitating various business operations. One aspect of e-business is e- commerce, which directs to the chain of selling and buying products and services through online platforms. In other words, e-commerce is a subset of e-business which deals with online transactions specifically..The term "e-business" was first used by IBM in 1997 to highlight the value of their business model. IBM's investment in e-business marketing paid off, as revenue grew from $64 billion in 1994 to over $88 billion by 2000. As technology has advanced, global e-business and collaboration have become increasingly important for businesses looking to expand and improve their performance. Digital technologies including the Internet, social media, and e- commerce platforms make it possible for businesses to collaborate with partners and customers around the world. However, this also presents challenges such as cultural differences, language barriers, and legal regulations that must be navigated. This research seeks to examine how global e-business and collaboration impact business performance.
