Absztrakt (kivonat)
Democracy, as a system of governance, stands as a testament to humanity's enduring quest for collective empowerment and self-determination. Yet, its evolution is far from static, shaped by a myriad of socio-political forces, chief among them being institutional frameworks. This research delves into the intricate relationship between institutions and democracy, seeking to unravel the mechanisms through which institutions both mold and are molded by the democratic process.Institutions serve as the bedrock upon which democratic structures are erected, embodying the norms, rules, and procedures that govern political interaction within a society. From the separation of powers to the protection of individual rights, these institutional arrangements lay the groundwork for the functioning of democracy, providing the scaffolding upon which the edifice of governance stands. However, their role extends far beyond mere structural support, as institutions actively shape the behavior of political actors and the contours of public discourse.
