Absztrakt (kivonat)

In the dynamic nature of international relations, complex interplays between representatives of global players occur daily. For as long as human history goes, different nations and societies had profound influence on each other, that not only significantly shaped and continues to shape the current global paradigm but affected everyday lives. In present days, humanity experiences fundamental political changes. The previously applied mechanisms in international cooperation that certainly contributed to the creation of a more interactive, co-dependent, and cohesive community, appear to be influenced by up-and-coming political philosophies. The assessment of relative gains and risks in international affairs serves as a predictive tool, however it frequently neglects or underestimates certain pertinent factors. This research serves the purpose of understanding the fundamental changes in international cooperation between developed nations, in the last three decades. Determine the possible relation between the current political and philosophical movements and international cooperation, in the context of their cultural and social roots. It also aims to conclude the impact of different political and ideological schools of thought on multilateralism. Additionally, this research assesses the impact of globalization, technology, and the changing nature of communication on the evolution of cultural dynamics in the realm of international relations, by assessing the current attitude shifts to international institutions. The ultimate question of modern-day international relations is whether our world gets more interconnected or divided when it comes to global action, and how will our polarized and culturally shattered world overcome global challenges.
