Absztrakt (kivonat)

In my thesis I was analysing relevant findings about the hazardousness of plastics and microplastics and the co-dependency of them. With the help of EU directives, the Basel Convention and the Paris Agreement, I was aiming to get an understanding of regulations on plastic materials and how plastics can pose threat to human health, the environment and the ecosystem. Moreover, I will present EU strategies and standards for the potentially hazardous plastic waste management, which can mean efficient solutions for further practices.
