In the context of today’s globalized environment, China has experienced swift advancement, particularly subsequent tothe inception of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). This enormousendeavor has significantly bolstered trade and economic collaborationwith the nations along its path. This paper investigates the BRI’s multi-faceted influence on China’s progression, emphasizing its contributions to international trade, outward investment, deepened international collaborations, and the acceleration of China’s economic dynamics.A comprehensive literature review in this study elucidates the BRI’s background, strategic positioning, implementation outcomes, and its influence on China’s trajectory, laying a solid theoretical and empirical foundation for further investigation. Through diverse methodologies, including literature analysis, data gathering, case studies, and comparative assessments, the paper delves into the BRI’s specific impacts on facets such as China’s international trade, foreign investment activities, international cooperative ventures, and overall economic growth.Findings demonstrate that the BRI not only enhances trade flows between China and nations besidesthe route, bolstering the international stature of Chinese products and services, but also facilitates overseas investments by Chinese firms and strengthens economic linkages. Moreover, the initiative elevates China’s role in global economic governance, casting it as a pivotal proponent of multilateralism and globalization. Additionally, the BRI injects fresh vigor into China’s domestic economy, promotes balanced regional development, and broadens both the openness and global influence of the Chinese market.Nevertheless, the implementation of the BRI encounters several challenges, such as the economic sustainability of projects, investment risks, and the volatile nature of the international political landscape. Consequently, this paper proposes targeted policy measures focused on refining outward investment structures, augmenting international cooperation frameworks, and enhancing project management levels. These recommendations aim to amplify the BRI’s beneficial impact, thereby advancing economic development both in China and globally. This study not only deepens our understanding of the BRI’s significance for China and the international economy but also offers strategic guidance for enhancing international cooperation under this framework. These insights contribute to the broader narrative of fostering a shared future for all humanity, aligning with the vision of the Chinese government and global business community.
