Absztrakt (kivonat)
Abstract: This thesis explores the political systems of Kazakhstan and Hungary, analyzing how historical legacies, institutional mechanisms, and societal dynamics have influenced governance structures, electoral processes, and party configurations. It aims to deepen understanding of political development and offer insights into democratic consolidation and institutional reforms in both nations. Examining the state, political system, and party dynamics, the study outlines key scholarly approaches, trends, and future prospects for political and party systems, and electoral regimes in the context of state-building. Despite differing historical trajectories, both nations transitioned to democracy post-communism. Kazakhstan faced challenges of statehood establishment, while Hungary experienced a more pluralistic political landscape. Recent reforms aim to modernize political systems and enhance democratic governance, yet concerns persist over democratic backsliding, particularly in Hungary under Viktor Orbán's leadership. By synthesizing findings from domestic and foreign scholars, the thesis contributes to the discourse on political modernization, evaluating scientific approaches and historical contexts of political transitions post-communism. Scientific findings deepen understanding of political developments in Kazakhstan and Hungary, offering insights into democratization, governance, and political transformation processes. The structured thesis provides a systematic exploration of the topic, drawing upon legislative documents, governmental reports, and diverse scholarly sources for a comprehensive analysis of political landscapes in both countries.
