Absztrakt (kivonat)

Summarizing the results of the study we can conclude that tourism is currently one of the causes of degradation of the Lake Issyk-Kul ecosystem. Mass unregulated tourism causes such problems on the lake as degradation of the whole lake ecosystem. Due to the growing pressure from human activity, first of all, the quality of water and air suffers. Uncontrolled emissions of waste from tourist enterprises into the water makes the lake inorganic, but simply a dead water body, with such an approach and with such an attitude to the lake it is possible within 10-15 years to completely lose the volume of water. The lake needs urgent measures to regulate the tourist flow, as well as to make decisions on the protection and defence of the environment. Various non-governmental organizations as well as the government are taking measures to improve the ecological condition of the lake, but the efforts are not organized and chaotic, there is no unified system and management of natural resources of the lake. It can be concluded that hypothesis #1 The impact of tourism on the ecology of Lake Issyk Kul is strong and negative, is true. The impact of tourism on Issyk-Kul Lake at the moment is strong and negative. Hypothesis #2 No efforts have been made to improve the ecological condition of the lake, is not true, there are ongoing efforts to improve the ecological condition of the lake by the government and non-governmental organizations, although the efforts are insufficient. Hypothesis #3 There are opportunities for the development of sustainable tourism in the region, is partially true, as everything depends on decisions and reactions from the government, strict laws are needed to preserve the ecology of the lake and coordinated, organized management of the natural resources of Lake Issyk-Kul is needed. The survey has shown that the residents and the local tourists are concerned about the ecological state of the Issyk-Kul Lake. Visitors are not satisfied with the ecological state of the public beaches, although in sanatoriums and large recreational complexes there is no such disorder on the beaches as in public beaches due to the lack of control and inspection, nevertheless the territories of sanatoriums suffer from unregulated waste discharges into the lake. Both here and there control and inspection of the ecology of the area should be implemented. Interviews with stakeholders showed that local authorities are also open to issues of preservation and protection of the lake ecosystem. Although these measures are being implemented much slower than required, progress is being made, and the recent law to eliminate the use of plastic bags on the lake has been a great boost to the development of sustainable tourism on the lake. Sustainable tourism management in Issyk-Kul requires highly qualified specialists and the 44 government should pay attention to this, attracting foreign specialists could be a key point, as international experience could be a good example for the implementation of successful practices. The importance of this study lies in the fact that thanks to the work done, it was possible to identify the environmental problems caused by tourism, to assess their situation at the moment, at what stage of solution they are at and who deals with these or those issues, as well as to consider the possibilities of sustainable tourism development. According to the results of the research it was possible to reveal that not all acute problems of the lake are solved and receive attention from the government or other organizations. Many are put aside until the situation escalates and comes out in an uglier form. So far, the state is taking very small steps toward solving this big problem. While the business sector waits for the next season, the lake does not have time to recover from the past season. Further work on preserving the ecosystem of the lake in my opinion should be directed to the development of other areas of tourism, not only resort tourism, Kyrgyzstan has many other unique beautiful places that can also become tourist destinations, and this will help the lake is not loaded at 100% and will allow to sustainably receive tourists. The lake needs proper and sustainable management and proper distribution of tourist flow. This requires a lot of organized work on the part of all stakeholders.
