In my thesis I will analyse the environment of a chosen company through various rehearsed methods, profoundly through market research and attempt to develop a marketing strategy for both current and forecast circumstances. Moreover, I am aiming to showcase my ideas for enhancing the company’s marketing strategy to the readers and present their methods for employment in practicality. My development will be combined from theoretical and practical elements. Theoretical background provided by publishments of the great marketing minds of the past and present and practicality taken from my experience in the company and the industry it operates in paired with acknowledged research and planning methods.With this topic I will attempt to develop an in-depth marketing strategy for my choice of company, which is the company that I work at, Mateco Hungary Kft, which is a company that specializes in the renting and servicing of heavy machinery, especially personnel and material lifting equipment. I will further attempt to apply the ideas that I have come up with over the years and support them with reasoning taken from the chosen written marketing strategy literature. I will try and offer reasonable solutions to smaller problems known in the surrounding industry and the company’s current marketing strategy or the lack thereof. I will use a set of my skills and available research methods to accomplish these.Through the literature that I analysed so far consist of psychological roots, marketing history and some theory background, planning and analysing, pricing, some B2B element and some research theory.I will conduct SWOT, PORTER 5, STEEPLE analyses and use the 7P model to develop a future plan for the company.Interview conducted with Erika Papp, business process development and marketing manager for mateco Hungary Kft.
