Absztrakt (kivonat)

The objective of this thesis is to investigate the challenges and success factors associated with the strategic planning and implementation of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). As the global business environment evolves, SMEs are becoming more aware of the potential role of ERP systems in improving business efficiency and competitiveness. However, SMEs face unique challenges in ERP implementation when compared to large enterprises, such as limited resources, organizational culture differences, and technology acceptance. This study uses a quality method to explore the experience of ERP system strategic planning and implementation through case analysis of multiple SMEs. It is found that the success of SMEs in ERP system implementation is closely related to the quality of strategic planning. Good strategic planning helps clarify goals, allocate resources, and collaborate with teams, thereby increasing the probability of successful implementation of an ERP system.Furthermore, understanding and managing organizational culture has been shown to be one of the key factors influencing the success of ERP systems. Among SMEs, more flexible organizational structure and culture make ERP changes more difficult to implement. As a result, the study concludes that SMEs should prioritize organizational culture change in tandem with strategic planning to ensure the successful implementation of ERP systems. In summary, this study reveals the challenges and success factors of ERP system strategic planning and implementation in SMEs through in-depth case analysis, which provides a useful reference for research and practice in related fields. The research conclusions can provide guidance for SMEs to formulate effective strategies and solve practical problems during the implementation of ERP systems, and promote their sustainable development in a highly competitive business environment.
