Cryptocurrency is a specific type of virtual currency based on the principles of cryptography and electronic communication. Dozens of cryptocurrencies have appeared in recent years, the most popular being the first introduced bitcoin. Cryptocurrencies have received a lot of attention in recent years. The nature and volatility of cryptocurrencies are widely discussed by the general public, policy makers and economists, as well as traders. In this thesis, I present the basic aspects of cryptocurrencies and their operating principles. Touching deeper, I introduce a new branch of art through Non-Fungible Tokens. We can gain insight from the basics, from the creation of the work of art to its introduction to the market and trading. I compare old and new art and show the merging of a new branch into the modern world. This world, however, does not stop at the sale, I illustrate this through an interview I made with Marcel Petrovszki, who is a young successful NFT and Crypto trader. We can observe different economic patterns, bear and bull markets, using a number of analysis methods.
