Abstract
Modernization reaches all areas of life. Pharmacies in Hungary are constantly being rebuilt on much more modern foundations, some of them even becoming completely digitalized. This has a great influence on the customer experience and the purchase process itself. In my research, I investigate the user-friendliness of the modernization and digitization of pharmacies and customers' attitudes towards more efficient shopping processes, as well as the appearance of new interactive marketing tools. For the research, literature works and an online distributed questionnaire were used to collect accurate answers of customers and to get a comprehensive picture. Keywords: pharmacy, digitalization, modernization, user-friendliness, marketing tools, purchase process, advertising, consumers, digital knowledge
