Abstract:This study investigates the factors contributing to entrepreneurs reaching their potential and explores the connection between self-actualization and entrepreneurship. The research aims to identify the tools, practices, and mindsets that entrepreneurs use to achieve their potential. Using a qualitative research approach, the study involved interviews with ten entrepreneurs and a thematic data analysis to address the main research question: What tools and practices do entrepreneurs use to reach their potential? The secondary research question was:Which aspects contribute most to Entrepreneurs reaching their potential? The findings revealed that entrepreneurs utilize a variety of tools, practices, and mindsets to reach their potential. They continuously learn through reading books, attending events, and learning from their mistakes while consciously building resilience. Entrepreneurs emphasize the importance of health and well-being, engaging in regular exercise, a healthy diet, and stress management techniques such as mindfulness, meditation, or spending time in nature. They set objectives using SMART goals or by establishing long-term and short-term goals, drawing upon intrinsic motivation for their ventures through passion and personal satisfaction. Time management techniques, such as prioritization and delegation, are also employed, with entrepreneurs valuing work-life balance and spending time with their families. Networking and building relationships are crucial, with entrepreneurs attending events for collaboration opportunities and maintaining strong connections with mentors, family, and friends. Furthermore, entrepreneurs adapt to change by continuously learning new skills and being open to feedback and experimentation. The secondary research question examined the aspects that contribute most to entrepreneurs reaching their potential. Personal growth and self-improvement, health and well-being, goal-setting and motivation, work-life balance, networking and building relationships, and adaptability emerged as the most significant factors. The research successfully addressed the research questions and fulfilled its aims, with practical implications for entrepreneurial education and initiatives, as well as aspiring entrepreneurs.
