<p dir="ltr" style="text-align:left;"></p><p>The Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) is a massive infrastructure and investment project proposed by China's president, Xi Jinping, in 2013. Its main goal is to promote economic growth and development in participating countries and boost China's trade with them. The initiative includes policy dialogue, trade facilitation, financial support, and people-to-people exchange. Central Asia is a crucial region in the BRI's implementation, as it connects China to the West through land routes and provides a great market for Chinese goods. Kazakhstan, with its political stability and rich natural resources, plays a key role in the initiative. The thesis aims to examine the Chinese presence and its growing influence through the BRI in Kazakhstan. The paper will analyze the BRI's economic and political impact in Kazakhstan, including its advantages and disadvantages, and its future prospects. The structure of the paper includes an extensive explanation of the BRI, its role in Central Asia, the economic and political impact of the initiative in Kazakhstan, and possible future scenarios and challenges.</p><p></p>
