Absztrakt (kivonat)
In China, during the past fiveyears, the Belt and Road Plan and the breadth of its development have become highlypopular topics. China has a history of land-based and sea-based Silk Roadssince ancient times. But today, Twenty-first century, the idea of One Belt OneRoad is being redefined. In view of the Country Situation in China, Xi Jinping, the current President of China, championed the Belt and Road Plan in 2013. ForChina to fully open up to the outside world in the new era, the building of theBelt and Road Project is a crucial step. It is also an effective bridge tofacilitate mutually beneficial, friendly cooperation and double-win development for all countries in the world. However, howcan the Belt and Road Initiative be more effectively realized and serve theglobal community? China now has serious concerns about this.Suppose the internationalcommunity is to reach a consensus on the goals. In that case, it is essentialto gain the recognition, understanding, respect, and tolerance of the countriesparticipating in the Belt and Road. Then it will be feasible to successfullyand smoothly implement it. And ultimately bring about a result that isadvantageous to all nations. At this point, public diplomacy is particularlyimportant as an essential vehicle for spreading Chinese values to the worldwidecommunity in the Plan of the Belt and Road. There is no doubt that public diplomacy helps developcordial ties between China and the countries participating in the Belt andRoad. It also helps to dispel certain misgivings and misunderstandings betweencountries and enhance trust between them. Additionally, it aids in achieving actualpeople-to-people connections and bettering worldwide social, cultural, economic, and political development. Therefore, vigorous public diplomacyinitiatives in the nations along the Belt and Road will aid in promoting theBelt and Road Initiative's seamless implementation quickly. Moreover, the ties between China and the other countries of the worldhave changed dramatically as a result of China's growth. The outside worldneeds to understand a more realistic China. China's development requires a conducive international public opinion environment andnational profile, making public diplomacy an essential tool in this new era.On May 21, 1951, Pakistan was notonly the first country to recognize the establishment of the new China but alsoformally created diplomatic relations with it. These two countries have had a series of contacts on politicaland military fronts since the earliest days of the new China. The two nationshave remained closer ties ever since, and in 2017, Pakistan joined the ShanghaiCooperation Organisation, giving Pakistan an even more important position inChina. China and Pakistan have also designated 2019 as the Year ofPakistan-China Industries. And China refers to its stable relationship as the"Pakistan-Iron relationship." It is even described as an"all-weather friendship, good neighbors, good brothers," and so on.As everyone knows, One of thevarious initiatives within the Belt and Road Plan is the China-PakistanEconomic Corridor, which is a crucial part.Along with fostering greaterpolitical and economic trade partnerships between Pakistan and China, it will also further solidify their cordial relationsinternationally. Additionally, it contributes in a pioneering and outstandingmanner to the Belt and Road Plan. However, Pakistan is a principal developing countryalong the Belt and Road.In respect of their politicalstructures, economic frameworks, cultural traditions, and religiousconvictions, China and Pakistan are essentially poles apart. There are alsosome misunderstandings and negative perceptions of China among the Pakistanipublic, which has harmed China's international image to a certain extent. Therefore, China's implementation of public diplomacy toward Pakistan isrepresentative and has particular research value. Therefore, public diplomacyinitiatives aimed at Pakistan are implemented to enhance humanistic exchangesbetween the peoples of both nations and bolster Sino-Pakistani relations. It is an unavoidable option for China to effectively carry outpublic diplomacy in the new vision of the Belt and Road to alleviate themisconceptions of some Pakistani people about China, as well as to enhanceChina's national image and realize the"people-to-people bond" between Sino-Pakistani relations.
