Absztrakt (kivonat)

The COVID-19 pandemic hada significant impact on the global economy, industries, businesses, andindividuals. Many industries experienced a decline in sales due to governmentrestrictions, while businesses had to adopt digitalization to survive. The B2Csector was significantly impacted as it relies on direct interaction betweenbusinesses and customers. This research aims to analyze the digitaltransformation in the B2C sector in Kyrgyzstan during the pandemic. As adeveloping country with an unstable economy, Kyrgyzstan has been slow inimplementing digital strategies, making this research important. The study willhelp businesses and the government understand the challenges of digitalizationand identify the factors driving digital transformations in enterprises. Thestudy will also provide insight into how the B2C sector in Kyrgyzstan overcamethe challenges of the pandemic and quickly responded to customer needs. Theresearch objective is to examine the concept of digitalization in organizationsand answer the research question: How did the B2C sector in Kyrgyzstan respondto the pandemic in terms of digitalization, and what were the challenges andfactors driving digital transformations?
