Absztrakt (kivonat)

Alpine tourism, and especially winter tourism is vastly reliant on weather conditions, whether it is a summer or winter destination. The economies of Alpine countries are mainly dependent upon tourism, and winter tourism is one of their primary sources of income, for which snow reliability is a fundamental component of what the Alps have to offer (Elsasser and Bürki, 2002). The tourism sector is one of the industries for which it has been particularly challenging to evaluate the effects of climate change. The societal costs of climate change are also still hard to estimate, despite developments in science's understanding of its scope and regional variance in the coming decades. Enjoyable weather during the traditional holiday seasons is mainly responsible for the attractiveness of numerous locations. Additionally, this study aims to ascertain how climate change has affected specific components of the tourism industry, specificallytravellers’choices of destination and tourism businesses (Elsasser and Bürki, 2002).
