<p dir="ltr" style="text-align:left;">In my dissertation I study the impact and results that movies and series may cause on tourism by motivating people. The study of film tourism opens up numerous opportunities for the thesis because it is a fascinating and dynamic subject.&nbsp;The topic under consideration is, in my opinion, quite relevant because it has grown in popularity in recent years, with more and more tourists traveling to the locations of their beloved movies and television shows.&nbsp;Film tourism can also have a big effect on destinations in terms of economy, culture and marketing.&nbsp;The aim of my dissertation is to explore the motivations behind the purpose of travels to a movie destination.&nbsp;My goal is to characterise and understand both the potential and actual motivations of the film tourists. How many different ways can a tourist get inspiration to visit a destination that we saw in a movie? Which aspects of a movie can influence tourist’s motivational behaviour? I truly believe that at the end of my dissertation I can take my proper conclusions and provide a deeper understanding in the connection between motivational factors and movie destinations.<br></p>
