<p dir="ltr" style="text-align:left;"></p><p><span lang="en-gb" xml:lang="en-gb">The purpose of this thesis is to examine the economic impact and competitiveness of wine tourism in Georgia. The focus will be on the competitiveness of wine tourism, the impact of wine production on the country's economy, the unique aspects of Georgian wine and the factors that make Georgia an attractive wine destination for tourists.</span></p> <p><span lang="en-gb" xml:lang="en-gb">During my studies, I experienced several differences in the wine tourism sector, and they can influence the decision-making process of the end consumer. It interested me that countries have developed their own wine-making methods, and that many techniques are culture-dependent.</span></p> <p><span lang="en-gb" xml:lang="en-gb">Tourism in Georgia is gradually increasing, and the country itself is continuously developing to make itself an important player in the wine industry. It constantly adopts the latest trends, and it is using several advantages to benefit the country. However, which advantage those are have not been investigated in depth so far. </span></p> <p><span lang="en-gb" xml:lang="en-gb">In this thesis I would like to research which competitive advantage has the most impact on Georgia’s economic growth and the global wine industry in general, and if this is contributing to its popularity.</span></p> <p><span lang="en-gb" xml:lang="en-gb">This thesis discusses the competitiveness of Georgian wine tourism, challenges, achievements, wine-making techniques, opportunities, and the economic influence in the country. As a result of the research, there are demonstrated important areas for economic development and the unique aspects of Georgian wine tourism perspectives.</span></p><br><p></p>
