Absztrakt (kivonat)

In the last section of my thesis, I intended to provide a condensed summary of each of the themes discussed as well as the primary conclusions reached. Beginning with my enthusiasm for this subject matter, I believe that sustainability in general is something that not only dictates our present but also plays a significant role in determining our future. The extraordinarily rapid technological advancements that have taken place over the course of the past few centuries have enabled us to achieve heights in a variety of domains that were previously inconceivable to us. Despite the fact that these activities brought about numerous helpful innovations—without which we could not even begin to picture how our lives would be anymore—these breakthroughs came with a significant cost. The quick and greedy development of technology meant that we were going to live up most of our natural resources, but it also meant that we were going to invent new technologies. The advancement of technology has allowed us to discover several methods of producing sustainable sources of energy. This advancement is extremely important to the long-term growth of our standard procedures because it plays a part in reducing waste. Although the concept of sustainability can be found in a variety of aspects of our life, the one that most piqued my interest was the business of finance and providing services. How can a company ensure its continued success Are the techniques they've devised helping them to achieve the goals they've set Are there variations in the ways that this issue is approached and solved depending on the region These questions immediately piqued my interest and sparked my imagination; I wanted to learn as much as I could about this subject and gather as many fascinating pieces of information as I could. Conducting both primary and secondary research was the tactic that I utilized. In conclusion, I discovered that the majority of multinational corporations have developed different sustainable strategies and are working toward improving their operations. During the course of my research, I came to the conclusion that varied geographical areas do not always adopt dramatically different approaches to the challenge of sustainability. In general, the businesses that were functioning in the V4 nations took ideas and practices from other businesses that were not necessarily based in their region. The initial research I conducted brought this reality to light, along with the observation that businesses in general follow global trends in terms of both the objectives they pursue and the methods they employ. Even though these may appear to hold promise, the reality is that until the organizations responsible for making laws and enforcing those laws sanction and force these businesses to move in the right direction, there will be no genuine change brought about because greed and the desire for continuous expansion will always be stronger.
