Absztrakt (kivonat)

My personal motivation for writing my thesis is my interest in fashion, the environment and awareness. I have been looking after everything I can for as long as I can remember. Whether it's my property or someone else's. I see the value and meaning in everything, and in what I don't, I try to understand what its value is and why it might be. I grew up in a house with a garden and was raised to believe that what we do in the present will have consequences and to make sure that whatever happens does not harm but builds and supports. So, when I started making my own decisions, I tried to do so consciously. This is what I did and have been doing ever since, for example, in my consumption, especially when it comes to clothing, knowing the impact that the fashion industry has on our planet.  As mentioned above, I intend to write my thesis on sustainable fashion and ethical clothing.  It is one thing to wear a garment that is beautiful, comfortable and expresses our creativity and personality, but with every purchase we make we are making a decision that has a huge impact on the environment.  In my thesis, I would like to answer the following questions. What is ethical clothing and why is it important? How popular is this initiative among consumers? How many people use it? How many consumers are aware of the Sustainable Development Goals? How many people are aware of sustainable initiatives and businesses in Hungary? How many people shop in second-hand shops? How many of them shop without taking into account the impact of their actions on the environment?  "Ethical clothing is not yet widespread in Hungary because it is a new initiative. However, those who are aware of it, apply it and promote it. "Those who practice ethical clothing are mostly young people." "Consumers are open to ethical clothing if they know about it." In this thesis, I examine these statements.
