Absztrakt (kivonat)

The thesis is divided into three main sections. The first chapter is discussing over the coffee market, with aspects of market size and growth projections, investigating the market position of the largest coffee shop chains, as the biggest competitors. The second part is about a case study of Empress Coffee Vienna, one of the upcoming role-players in Viennese modern coffee culture. This section is examining the business through an interview with the owner and the manager of the business to get a greater understanding of their success in a city as rich of coffee culture as Vienna. The core part of the diploma work is the business model detailed in the third chapter, written in the form of a real business plan with intention to raise investment capital and build a thriving business based on it.
