Abstract -Title: An exploratory investigation of guest satisfaction in the case of Sáo Food and Bar Budapest. -Topic: The components of guest satisfaction in the restaurant industry. Since the global financial crisis was resolved ten years ago, the hotel business all over the world has seen phenomenal expansion, paralleling the overall expansion of the economy in that time. The World Bank estimates that throughout this period, the overall economy expanded at a pace of more than three percent on an annual basis. The tourism and hospitality business is set to reap significant advantages from a number of factors, including the expansion of the economy, the increasing of stressed and busy lifestyles, and the rising desire for travel and entertainment. Therefore, one might say that the tourist business is a smoke-free industry that brings unquestionable advantages to the economy of not only a nation but also the globe. In a similar vein, Hungary is one of the European nations that has the most development in the tourism industry. There has been an increase in the number of hotels, restaurants, and other types of businesses that cater to tourists as the tourism industry has grown, particularly in the city of Budapest. In addition to this, globalization encourages people to try the cuisine from other nations, which is one reason why there are such a large number of Asian restaurants in general and Vietnamese restaurants in particular that have sprung up like mushrooms in Budapest. The Sáo Food and Bar is one of these restaurants, and it can be found right in the middle of this magnificent capital city. This thesis aims to identify the components of guest satisfaction in the restaurant industry, as well as to investigate the level of customer satisfaction with the restaurant Sáo Food and Bar's service quality and to provide approaches for improving the restaurant's service quality in order to better satisfy the demands of guests. This research also to determine the elements that influence consumers’ satisfaction with service quality at Sáo Food and Bar restaurant. In addition, this study will evaluate the restaurant Sáo Food and Bar's current operational state and guests’ satisfaction with service quality, therefore comprehending and developing suitable suggestions and potential solutions for improving the restaurant Sáo Food and Bar's service quality. This study will use the quantitative method to analyze data. The findings presented the five components of guest satisfaction and the level of how the guest was satisfied with each element.
