Nowadays, accessing any information is a matter of seconds thanks to the Internet. Thus, finding out about the latest trends, news or even new companies takes no more than a few minutes. This is a great help, but it may also be a difficulty for future couples. Why The wedding industry offers a wide variety of services and products, many of which can make a couple's big day more stressless. The main aim of this thesis is to explore these factors and the issues of how important it is for a service provider to be present in the online space. More specifically, what impact these platforms have on potential customers, how they can be better reached and what are the practices and tools that companies in the industry can use to influence consumers. The dissertation places specific focus on wedding decorations, which has now become an essential element of a successful event. It also examines how each companies' social media platforms can make the business more attractive, and where and how it is advisable to advertise services.In addition, the author dedicated importance to investigate the topic of service marketing as it serves as the base for companies in the wedding industry. Moreover, online and social media marketing are essential within the topic, thus research is carried out to find more about how wedding service providers can use these platfroms to their advantage.Furthermore, focused attention is dedicated to word of mouth marketing, as it turned out that this way of communication means a lot for a good reputation not to mention that customers rely on these pieces of information at a very high percentage.In order to provide a complex overview, a competititor analysis is carried out by comparing four companies with very similat business profiles: wedding decoration. By using this technique, the reader can gain an insight into the indusrty's current situation as well as having answers to what attracts customers the most.Moreover, within the primary research, an interview with the leader of a wedding decoration company is made which enables the reader to see what is the situation when it comes to a seller point of view. The leader talked about her previous expereiences, current trends, their social media platforms and online surfaces where the company is present.Finally, the results of a questionnaire is going to be presented. It will help the reader to get a comprehensive picture of the current situation and thoughts former and current customers of the wedding industry.
