Volunteer work makes a significant contribution to a country's culture. Volunteering itself is identified as a type of work or “human effort that adds value to goods and services” (Wilson & Musick, 1997: 695), for example, suggest that volunteer activity has a higher market value than any monetary compensation. As Gross Domestic Product and larger economic framework do not cover volunteer work," it generates an incalculable quantity of invisible products and services (Warburton & Oppenheimer, 2000). Volunteers help in sports, recreation, emergency services, health, education, arts, hobbies, welfare, youth, religious, community services, cultural, heritage, environmental, professional, business, and union organizations (Noble 1991; Brosnan & Cuskelly, 2001). However, our national or institutional measures, in general, mainly ignore the importance of volunteer work. Most people who work for a living devote the whole of their leisure time working in order to receive income. Making money is a part of life, and people would try to find ways to earn more as they want to reach the top of success. Conversely, some people give up their free time without getting paid in exchange for helping individuals, groups of people, or other living or nonliving entities (Wilson, 2000). Volunteers, for example, are perceived as supporting disaster responses, addressing environmental issues, and among other things. This contribution is contingent on many factors that motivate individuals to volunteer. The simple fact remains that the successful performance of non-profit organizations, firm, and joint venture is primarily determined by the effective use and administration of the organization’s resources. HR serve as the most crucial of them. Humans are involved in the operation of all companies; either they provide services or manufacture products. Moreover, the capacity of a business to have motivated personnel will influence whether or not that firm or organization will be successful (Bergmann & Scarpello, 2001). As a result, knowing the motivating factors of members of staff is closely linked to success of organizations since worker’s or employee’s motivation has emerged as a critical aspect in the performance of organizations.
