Absztrakt (kivonat)

The thesis is composed of seven chapters, each one of them deals with different aspects. Firstly the introduction , then on the second chapter, an insight on the aspects and the  characteristics of the different types of immigration, the legal and the illegal migration and a comparative approach between the characteristics of  these different types. The third chapter is about the main elements of differences between the hosting and the sending countries from the point of view of immigration motivation, over the five major facets defining the differences between these groups of nations  which are the cultural with an overview on the social integration dilemma ,economic , technological , political and environmental  main differences and discrepancies . Fourth chapter is about an in depth analysis of the elements characterizing factors of the immigration trends and with a projection on the patterns of the immigration in the world , the main discussed factors that have an influence on the migratory patterns will be the historical relationships between the hosting and the sending countries as well as most importantly the demographic and economic trends and needs in the both developed and developing worlds , to develop a projection on the patterns and trends of the immigration  . On the fifth chapter, the main benefits and drawbacks of the immigration focusing on the economic and the financial opportunities and impacts generated by it as well as analyzing the major immigration programs in the world and then discussing the brain drain and gain phenomena . Finally  , based on the above points and as a relative experience ,  I am going to narrate my experience as a case sample related to the immigration phenomena . Reviewing the causes, forms and consequences , differences , pulling and pushing factors of the immigration and its broad impact on especially the economic development of countries, this thesis draws several conclusions making it possible to establish a number of proposals on which we could rely to limit negative effects and draw lessons for the future.
