Abstract:With the advancement of China's interest rate market and the emergence of innovative financial industries such as Internet finance, the era of banks "Earning spread" is gradually coming to an end. This means that banks must accelerate the pace of transformation and upgrading and find new profit growth points as soon as possible. According to international experience, 20% of high-end customers can bring 80% of the bank's profit. Private banking customers can carry more than ten times more profit than traditional public customers, so it becomes crucial to develop a wealth management business for high-net-worth people. This topic research aims to analyze the wealth management of Chinese HNWIs, starting from the background and structural characteristics of the HNWIs, the development of HNWIs in China, and the basic investment preferences and future investment preferences trends of HNWIs in China using relevant data collected from multiple perspectives. From both internal and external perspectives, analyze the factors that influence the wealth management of HNWIs and study the deep-seated factors that influence the investment preferences of HNWIs in China. Based on the overview of the development of private banking in China, the current impact of personal banking products and insufficient service supply in China is explored. In turn, it provides recommendations for wealth management choices for HNWIs and provides references for the development of related banking businesses in China.
