Absztrakt (kivonat)

Individual wealth planning and management is the concept of creating, developing and managing personal resources with the aim of giving yourself true control over your life while building the financial freedom. It is commonly using the expression of net worth of individuals in economy, but little is known about the ways an individual can become wealthy or any framework or strategy given, that might help individuals to achieve what they want in life. Based on the survey compiled with 100 European participants mostly between the age of 17- to 36-year-old (N=100), 83% of individuals were aware of financial planning and management but only 68% had financial goals set and only 53% were having long-term saving budget plan.  From this survey was found that one of the biggest obstacles that is preventing individuals from investing is the lack of a job. This research also investigates some of the hidden risks that individuals should be aware of while investing such as maintaining risks on real estate investment, risks connected to security on cryptocurrency investment, risks on debt and equity funds while investing on mutual funds, cyber-crime and identity theft on saving accounts in bank, market risks, life event risks and behavior risks. Moreover, in this research is compiled a new framework called “Optimized Fail-Safe Framework” which is a merge of some of the existing frameworks in wealth planning and management. This framework is built to target every individual while focusing on 8 important milestones. Additionally, this framework is built so individuals can be educated while trying to understand their position and act on it achieving their future goals. Lastly, based on the framework presented, a risk assessment process overview has been complied to identify potential factors that may cause harm associated to the created framework.
