Corporate Social Responsibility strategy is a part of business strategy that often gets neglected or not considered at all. During my internship at foodpanda (Delivery Hero Hungary), I work as a marketing intern and I found foodpanda’s CSR activities fascinating. The aim of my research is to get a comprehensive understanding of Corporate Social Responsibility, moreover, to determine whether CSR strategy is crucial for a company to be responsible and what are the potential benefits of it. To reach my goal after thorough secondary research, I conducted multiple interviews within the company, furthermore, a quantitative research method was used in the form of an online questionnaire. The results showed that a clear CSR strategy is beneficial for a company, this structure gives the company more room and ability to allocate their resources wisely and reach their goals with their individual CSR projects better. It also showed that the public pressure for companies to invest in their CSR initiatives is growing, and companies need to take a stand to stay credible and keep their customers.
