The process of adjusting and reconstructing the global economic governance mechanism entails redistributing global economic interests and realigning the interests of key nations and economic ties. The institutionalization of the G20 summit is a manifestation of the strength of the two primary mechanisms of the G8 and the G20. Additionally, it is the outcome of a power struggle between industrialized nations led by the United States and rising market countries led by China. After the financial crisis, the United States is facing the dual pressure of "equal distribution of power" of emerging powers and the "competition for power" of European countries in the field of global economic governance. The US is trying to tremendous lengths to retain its supremacy in global economic governance, and the G20's future may be illusory or empty. Simultaneously, the G20 provides an excellent venue for developing nations, particularly China, to engage in global economic governance at this point. Strengthen the G20's institutionalization, integrate the G20 into the decision-making circle of global economic governance, master the ultimate power of economic governance, and maximize the realization of national interests. After evaluating the economic relations between China and the U.S., it is decided that mutual collaboration in the game between China and the U.S. is possible and that such cooperation is the most advantageous option for the two nations. According to this perspective, while China and the U.S. have a game in the economic realm, as long as both sides actively seek opportunities for collaboration, the two nations' progress will not be jeopardized. Meanwhile, as the world's most significant venue for economic governance today, the G20 should strengthen its own institutional foundations in order to deal with an increasingly complicated international environment. The Sino-US relationship is the world's most important bilateral relationship today, having a significant influence on the worldwide situation. The way the Sino-US relationship is defined will have an effect on the G20's future development trajectory and position in global economic governance. With China's development and its GDP overtaking Japan to become the world's second-largest economy after the United States in 2010, the United States faces grave threats. The United States encircles and isolates China on political, economic, and military levels in order to constrain China's growth and retain its hegemony, and therefore the long-term game between China and the United States has become hot. To avoid the game between the two nations appearing to be a lose-lose situation that threatens the international system's stability, this article begins with the G20 mechanism and discusses how China may utilize it to minimize the dangers associated with the game while maximizing advantages.
