Restaurants have always played an essential role in the business, social, intellectual and artistic life of a thriving society. The major events of life, personal and professional, are celebrated in restaurants. Acquaintances become friends around a table in the safe and controlled environment of a restaurant. Individuals become lovers across a restaurant table, sometimes. Overall, Restaurants are significant part of our day-to-day life.  The main objective of this study is to find out the opportunities for a Restaurant Entrepreneurs and investors for starting up a Restaurant with a feasible business plan in Budapest. Further, it aims to clarify the procedures and the other things that are required for opening up the new restaurant. The study will explain about the food culture and restaurant history of Hungary. Research will also determine whether the restaurant business would be viable and able to provide a good opportunity for those having an interest in food business.  The plan is based on theoretical and project-based methods. The theoretical focus of the research was based on books, Internet resources and literature review. The significance of the business planning and its forms was mentioned and defined. Discuss different factors and prepare good business plans. For example, market analysis and marketing plan with marketing mix were defined since well implemented the whole plan.  The quantitative research method was done by designing questionnaires to understand the customer’s opinion and to understand the expectations customers having about the restaurants. In addition, Business canvas model study that helped to analyze the different procedures required to start the restaurant activities. From a different viewpoint, the current development brings with its opportunities and dangers for the new restaurants.
