Absztrakt (kivonat)

This research paper focuses on the problem of skilled labor force in the Central and Eastern European countries. Migration of skilled workforce from East to West is a problem faced by the CEE countries since the fall of the Soviet bloc. Due to the underdevelopment in all the areas of the countries formed after the fall of communism, their governments had to come with new policies and reforms, as well as a vision for the future. The solution to the increasing demand and constant deficiency of the skilled workforce is education, in the opinion of the European Commission and experts in economy and sociology. By 2020, all the CEE countries have shown good progress of economic matter, with GDP growth from good to great - in some countries like Romania or Poland. This has slowed the process of migration of the skilled workforce, but the system still lacks inclusiveness, many potential skilled workers not having access or desire to perform studies. The governments must tackle this issue, in order to increase the number of people with higher education that the labor market requires and cut the risks of having a shrinking or stagnating economy. To address the solution – education, provided by the most important organizations by reputation in the European Area (EC, OECD), in this paper you will find how the national education policies, on behalf of the EU education policy is influencing the labor market supply with workforce of high quality.in order to increase the number of people with higher education that the labor market requires and cut the risks of having a shrinking or stagnating economy.
