This research is conducted by author by identifying the recent trend of Chinese buyers in Europe and analyzing the motivation of Chinese individual investors when they consider investing in the European real estate, in order to help European countries understand more about Chinese property buyers and increase their sales of properties to Chinese buyers.  With the price of properties goes up rapidly in China in the recent years, there is an increasing trend of Chinese investors buying properties overseas. As one of the hot spots for real estate investment, Europe is increasingly favored by Chinese investors. However, for many people in some European countries, investment from the East is not new, but they may lack of the knowledge about the buying habits, buying preferences and buying needs of Chinese individual investors, especially Chinese investors in the real estate sector. After being aware of this phenomenon, the author consulted a lot of related information and conducted seven specific interviews with experts who are very knowledgeable about the Chinese property buyers in Hungary in order to increase the credibility and reliability of this research, and then wrote this paper after the whole systematic analysis. In terms of the research method and research approach, qualitative research method and inductive approach are developed during the research process respectively. After understanding the motives of individual Chinese investors to invest in real estate, the author believes that this article will help more European real estate practitioners to have a better understanding of Chinese investors and also reduce the misunderstandings and conflicts caused by cultural differences between the East and the West, so that Chinese people from afar are more willing to invest in European real estate.
