The health issues were an important concern for people all around the world and throughdifferent cultures and civilizations. For this sake, the World Health Organization was found in orderto face the health concerns international through setting strategies that support the country insaving people health. The problems that were threatening the health of people due to the crisisoccurred in Lebanon between the years 2000 and 2020, motivated me to highlight and study thestrategies taken by the WHO regarding the health concerns in the country. The focus will be onthe World Health Organization “WHO” in Lebanon that was established on the 7th of April 1948,that is specialized of the United Nations and it's headquarter based in Geneva and Switzerland.They are now more than 7000 participants working in one hundred and fifty countries in the world having6 regional offices.Studying the strategies that WHO consider when a crisis occurred in a country such as Lebanon,is very important since it clarifies the deference in strategies that may be adopted based on the typeof the crises.- Research QuestionsThe purposes of conducting this research are to:1. A historical background of the organization and the type of agreements that was signed inlebanon2. Developing and implementing multisectoral public policies on health issues.vii3. Performance that was made in the past 20 years in Lebanon that facilitated theempowerment of the community4. The action of the health promotions5. Statistical comparison to the data and the accomplishment between Lebanon and anotherMiddle Eastern country6. Explaining the health care protection techniques that was used in Lebanon7. The correlation between the role of the organization in a Lebanon and its economy’sbackground.The research questions that the following research will answer are:1. What is the number of population that the organization had help until now in Lebanon?2. Does WHO have an impact on the Lebanese country’s economy on the short term or long-termrun?3. What is the cost spent by the organization annually on their deeds in Lebanon?4. Does the member state of WHO organization have an effect on the policies and the inputexternal funding?The Quantitative method was adopted in the collection of data since the reports, studies, andgraphics that were retrieved from the World Bank data shows numbers and quantities about theindicators regarding the WHO strategies taken for Lebanon. Moreover, the secondary data wereused since the basic perform of the organization through the review stage and the parameters thatit works through it, and its duties statistically mentioned. The importance of the integration ofhealth into the strategies used and services offered. Covered information form annual reports,statistical publications, journals, and doctoral thesis and master thesis papers published andunpublished.the hypothesis was rejected because the WHO strategies were not effective enough in Lebanon.
