This research dissertation presented as part of the Master of Arts in Tourism Management at Budapest Business School University, aims to shed lights and understand the obstacles and motivations of consumers that use the fierce competitor of budget hotels, Airbnb, as it has gained a remarkable reputation throughout the past years. What this research refers to as the short-term private home rental is a concept that is not widely discussed in the literature. For this reason, the research model chosen is exploratory and quantitative. Data on Tourists motivations Towards Airbnb in Marrakesh-Morocco are collected through a survey. The questionnaire was answered by Airbnb consumers: travelers – users who have resided through Airbnb in Marrakesh Morocco. An in-depth analysis of the answers has identified the many key factors that work in favor of or against the use of corporate services such as social experience, referral system, price, and management. logistics. Certain limits have been designed to this research, including the small sample.
