The main purpose of this study to assess the impact of rapid population growth on the economic growth. This will be done through conducting the comparative analysis between India and China. Part of this research will focus on the effect of population growth by identifying the consequences of high population growth, when it come to the Indian and Chinese economic conditions. Generally, high population growth could be easily linked with issues like poverty,which has been observed between China and India.However, there has been some remarkable progress in terms of how those individuals facingpoverty crisis could be lifted out of poverty by the separately countries effort.The china and India’s economic achievements show a path that, which they despite all its inherent imperfection can take a poor nation towards developments. It is well known that India and China are the highly populous countries in the world and both countries economic growth are accompanied with population growth. There are a lot of studies show that India will soon take over China on the basis of population growth. This study indicates the main Variables, which can help to evaluate the effect of population growth on both nationseconomic Growth. This research is divided into six parts. The first part explains the main idea of this research with some problem statements, research objectives, research question and research methodology to the make the reader aware about the current work on this subject. Second part contribute some literature reviews to make this study more reliable. The third part can show the relationship between population growth and economic development,the differences and similarities among china and India. I also mention a case study, which show the relevant study regarding this research work. The fourth part is comparative analysis based on the social and economic Scenarios(Variables) and with the help of this analysis the fifth part will explain the impacts of population growth on economic development and some policy measures utilized by these nations to tackle high population growth related challenges. and the conclusion part will explain the outcome of this research.
